Fednel Monchery, the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities, received at his office, a delegation of the NGO Mission Harvest America, visiting Haiti. In particular, was discussed the possibilities of collaboration that this NGO proposes to continue to develop with Haiti, by providing support in the field of education, civil protection and improving the working conditions of municipal officials, among others.

During this meeting, representatives of Mission Harvest America sought the support of the Ministry to identify the needs of town halls in terms of equipment, accessories and various supplies. An estimate that will allow them to quickly build up adequate stocks, for the benefit of some Haitian municipalities.

Fednel Monchery thanked the members of the American NGO for the interest and the support offered and took the opportunity to invite the representatives of this Organization to take into account and to respect scrupulously the needs that will be expressed by the Haitian officials.
