iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Day of mobilization anti-Jovenel Moïse
The day of demonstration nationwide launched by the radical opposition against President Jovenel Moïse was respected in Petit-Goâve. However, unlike what happened in the capital https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27946-haiti-flash-violent-clashes-at-least-2-dead-many-injured-and-extensive-damage.html the demonstratoions took place "relatively" in the calm.

Very early, the National Road # 2 was blocked at the level of "Seradòt Market" by angry and very motivated young people. Some protested against the high cost of living while others demanded the resignation of the Head of State.

Protesters, some of whom were armed with machetes, banned the movement of all vehicles. Members of the local branch of the opposition marched on the streets, passing close to private residences of PHTK activists, no incident was reported during this march.

However, we learned that the activist Acao Rilnor was attacked by individuals pretending to be of the opposition and was saved only thanks to the rapid intervention of the National Police of Haiti. The attacker accused Acao Rilnor of using the opposition as a way to make money in the capital.
