Members of the specialized Land Border Security Corps (CESFRONT) this week seized 51 packages of marijuana with a total weight of nearly 230 kg, during a military check in the municipality of Comendador Elías Piña Province.

The drug was hidden in the metal platform of a truck coming from Haiti is estimated at more than 70 million pesos. It is noted that the truck before being intercepted had already crossed 2 checkpoints, without the drug being detected and that this discovery was made thanks to the work of the Dominican intelligence services.
