According to the Foreign Trade Directorate of the Ministry of Trade, from 2012 to 2015, Haiti exported nearly $9 million worth of handicrafts.

Decoration items made of metal, straw, cut iron, plastic cups, paper mache, glass, wood, steel, various handicrafts... In 2012, $2.4 million worth of articles exported $728,542 were for articles of metal decoration, $85,551 for wooden articles and $139,657 for straw articles.

Haitian handicrafts exports in 2013 amounted to $2.2 million in 2014 to 3.3 million, while 2015 exports dropped dramatically to $865,000.
