iciHaiti - Land conflict : The Mayor of Grand-Goâve would have sold a public beach

Thursday citizens of Grand-Goâve have demonstrated in front of the Prosecutor of Petit-Goâve against the Mayor of Grand-Goâve who they believe would have sold to a private, a public beach located in Ti Paradis.

The protesters made hostile remarks against the Government Commissioner, the Mayor and the buyer...

The Grand-Goâviens vowed that they would oppose this sale and demanded that the Mayor revert this decision recalling "The public beach of Ti Paradis is the property of the State, nobody can sell it. It belongs to the population of Grand Goâve."

To be continued...
