Since last weekend, the National Road #2 has been blocked or severely disrupted at the Bicentenary, Bolosse and even Portail Léogâne, following violent and armed clashes between rival gangs.

Heavily armed individuals belonging to several rival Gangs clash all day despite the presence of the sub-stations of Portail Léogâne, Martissant, Grand-Ravine, and a base of the Departmental Unit of Maintenance UDMO to the Habitation Leclerc who seem reluctant to intervene...

Commercial and other activities are completely paralyzed, automatic firearms shot are reported in these areas day and night. Fear and panic reigns in the residents of these areas where no public transport or private vehicle dares to venture... Testimonies mention several dead and wounded, information impossible to confirm as the confusion is great.

"Rumors" are circulating suggesting that Arnel Joseph's gang leader might return to one of his fiefs in Port-au-Prince ...
