iciHaiti - Politic : Wyclef Jean commits himself with the Women Sudanese for the freedom
International hip-hop star, the American-Haitian Wyclef Jean, known for his commitment in political or humanitarian causes, proudly displays his African roots and is committed to the women Sudanese in their quest for freedom.

This East African country, in the throes of a political crisis since the fall of President Omar El-Bashir, is agitated by demonstrations with Sudanese women on the front lines demanding a civilian government in place of the military junta that has seized power,

Jean praises the bravery of these women through his latest single "Nubian Queens" and salutes the bravery of these thousands of women who sing day and night the slogans of the "Saoura" (revolution in Arabic).

Jean picks up their slogans in his single and claims the rebirth of the kingdom of "Kush" which extended from the present Sudan to the south of Egypt.
