Following their visit [authorized by the authorities], the members of these organizations confirmed that after his arrest, Arnel had undergone surgery and was receiving treatment, but that he had not been amputated as rumors wanted to make him believe on social networks. These organizations report that Arnel confirmed to them that he had a legal aid lawyer assigned by the State for his defense and that the investigators of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police, continued to questioning him. Arnel indicated that he was answering questions but did not say whether or not he had any revelations. In accordance with the instructions and for security reasons, the organizations did not reveal in which Arnel hospital was located.
