iciHaiti - Social : Joël Lorquet raised to the rank of Doctor Honoris Causa
The Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA), announces that its Founder-Counselor Joël Lorquet has been raised to the rank of "Doctor Honoris Causa" in Social Communication by the Rectorate of the Royal University of Haiti.

According to the rector of the Royal University of Haiti, Dr. Jean Pierre Rodrigue Mathieu, the elevation to the grade of "Doctor Honoris Causa" is granted to Joël Lorquet, a prestigious and eminent Haitian personality of the intelligentsia who possesses very well Social Communication. Rector Mathieu considers Joël Lorquet as "a recipient of a brilliant academic record and well served by an enviable socio-pressure business card."

In his speech, writer and lecturer Joël Lorquet, after thanking the rectorate said "This distinction is symbolic but important because it comes from a university that target excellence". He then publicly committed to continue his work of training young people in the areas of Collective Communication, effective leadership and entrepreneurship, and especially to continue the publication of his research for the advancement of science in Haiti. Finally, he hoped that, from now on, the State authorities would call on the university to help them identify elements of solutions to the various problems faced by our country.
