iciHaiti - Fort-Jacques : Patriotic cleaning day

On August 10, Citibank, the National Heritage Safeguarding Institute (ISPAN) and the Town Hall of Pétion-ville, organized in partnership, a community and patriotic day on the historic site of Fort-Jacques.
During this day, the local residents swept, cleaned and collected the garbage, which was later transported by the garbage dump and disposed by the Town Hall of Pétion-ville.
Subsequently, the architect Jean Patrick Durandis, Director of ISPAN accompanied the participants for a guided tour of the Fort, evoking the historical context of the construction of this military structure, which dominates Port-au-Prince Bay, as well as its utility at the time.
