Saturday, as part of the first day of the second round of the League of Nations of the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), our Grenadiers faced the national team of Curaçao (79th world ranking FIFA) and unbeaten at home for 4 years, in the first leg of the 15,000-seat Ergilio Hato Stadion Stadium in Willemstad (Curacao)

Faced with dominant Curaçao (58% possession of the ball) Grenadiers who had opted for a defensive strategy, Marc Colat fearing the Curaçaol, have resisted well. At half-time the score was [0-0].

However, despite attempts to counters, the Grenadiers failed to regain control of the game. At 68' Collas replaced the striker Hervé Bazile (#7, Le Havre AC/France) by Duckens Nazon (#9 , St Mirren / Scotland), a change that failed to avoid midfield pitch Elson Hooi in the 70' on a decisive pass by Juninho Bacuna who opened the scoring for Curaçao [1-0 ].
