iciHaiti - NOTICE : Launch of a radio report contest
As part of its global "Girls Equality" campaign, which advocates for a world where girls and young women, in all their diversity, can take the decisions that affect their own lives and influence the world around them; Plan International Haiti is launching a radio report contest for young professional journalists or students on the theme of female leadership or "Fanm k ap travay pou chanjman, en Haiti".

Starting today, professional journalists and communication or journalism students can participate in the Girls' Rights Media Awards.

This national audio story contest aims to develop and broadcast inspiring radio reports on girls and women leaders who work directly or indirectly to build a more just and equal society.

Deadline for submission of applications: 25 September 2019 at midnight.

All applications must be submitted electronically to info.haiti@plan-intenational.org under the title "Soumission au concours de reportage, Droits des filles".

The jury will be made up of 5 people including gender and journalism professionals and young human rights defenders.

Three prizes are reserved for the three best reports. The winners of the contest will see their reports aired through the media partners, online platforms of Plan International and will be awarded a material reward useful to the journalistic profession during the commemoration of the celebration of the International Day of the girl, October 11 next.
