iciHaiti - Northeast : ONA welcomes about twenty voluntary insured mayors
Chesnel Pierre, the Director General of the National Office of Old-Age Insurance (ONA) accompanied by the Senator Wanique Pierre, proceeded this week to the symbolic delivery of the digital card of voluntary insured to twenty mayors of 13 comunes of the Northeast Department.
These elected representatives, gathered within the Association of Mayors of Northeast, were encouraged, on the initiative of the Senator, to initiate such an approach, thus enabling them to become voluntary insureds of the ONA to plan well their retirement and benefit from the benefits offered by the Institution.
Gabriel Amide, Secretary General of the Association and mayor of the commune of Carice invites other mayors to follow suit to become voluntary insured of the ONA, because it is an institution that is there to serve and protect the workers, all categories combined.
