The First Edition of the Citadelle Congress will be held in Montreal around the theme "Economy Immigration Entrepreneurship". This international conference, which will bring together influential decision-makers and transformers, working for the prosperity of Québec and Canada, aims, among other things, to highlight the contribution of the Haitian diaspora, promote and stimulate commercial, economic, production and cultural exchanges, of consumption between Haiti, Quebec and Canada and develop, among other things, links and business partnerships between the Haitian diaspora and Quebec and Canadian companies.

For more than 50 years, generations of committed Haitians have been contributing to the development or collaborating in all socio-cultural spheres, notably by sharing resources, heritage, economy and culture.

Remember that the Haitian diaspora represents a considerable socio-economic pillar in Quebec where more than 130,000 Haitian citizens live and work there. The Haitian community now has three generations including two born in Quebec.
