Demonstrators, activists and sympathizers of the opposition and residents of "Bò lopital" forced the school officials to release the students with violence and threats. Stones were thrown at schools causing a panic in the city center where many distraught parents came to pick up their children.

Barricades of burning tires and rocks were erected on public roads (not all flooded) and highly motivated protesters paralyzed commercial activities...

Around 1:00 pm the members of the local branch of the opposition demonstrated through the streets and demanded the departure of President Jovenel Moïse. Protesters made hostile remarks against Mayor Limongy and the Deputy of Petit-Goâve Germain fils Alexandre (VERITE).
