As promised in mid-September by the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) accredited to Haiti, Bang-Zyh Liu to the new acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Commander Rameau Normil https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-28754-icihaiti-security-taiwan-will-give-dozens-of-armored-vehicles-to-the-pnh.html , Taiwan (Republic of China) handed on Tuesday October 1, at the police academy located (Toad of Frères), a donation of about 30 tactical all-terrain vehicles, to the National Police of Haiti (PNH) with a view to strengthening its intervention capacities.

Taiwanese technicians provided training for Haitian mechanics on the maintenance and management of these vehicles. PNH mechanics have received tools and spare parts in sufficient quantities for vehicle maintenance over the next two years.

These vehicles will be deployed in the various bodies and specialized units of the PNH, including the Border Police (PoliFront).
