The Ministry of Health informs that the socio-political situation has led to the closure and cessation of activities of the main partner institutions working in the mobile collection of blood in Haiti. In addition, few replacement donors have attended the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS) in the past two weeks.

Also, the National Transfusion Safety Program of the Ministry of Health and the CNTS inform the general population and blood donors in particular that the available blood supply is at their lowest level.

They are kindly asked, if possible, to make a donation to the permises of yhe Digicel, Turgeau, 1st floor, to allow any patient to benefit from blood products at the appropriate time.

Pregnant women, dialysis patients and emergency patients are counting on you.
