iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Day of protest against repression

Sunday a branch of the radical opposition of Petit-Goâve, affiliated to the movement known as "Democratic and Popular" organized a day of protest against the repression while demanding the resignation of the Head of State. At around 9:30 pm, sporadic gunshots were heard throughout the town of Petit-Goâve...

An exhibition of photos of five people killed by murderous bullets in Petit-Goâve during the claims and protest movements, was held in Jubilée called "zone of resistance", the occasion of testimonies, denunciations and taking of speech of local opposition activists.

Radical opposition Senator Nènel Cassy (Famni Lavalas), who was present for the occasion, congratulated the population as well as the activists and supporters, and urged them to motivate them to continue the struggle and remain mobilized against President Jovenel Moïse "Kanpe goumen, pa lague batay la" (Fight, do not give up the battle) launched the Senator of Nippes...

Further, Nénel Cassy said that the resumption of school activities was not possible with the ruling Président Jovenel Moïse and affirmed the schools will remain closed !

During Senator Cassy's visit to Rue Benoit several shots were heard.
