iciHaiti - Ancestors Day : Floral Offering of the Head of State

Thursday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by his wife Martine in the presence in particular of Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin, of Senator Carl Murat Cantave, of President of the Senate, of Me René Sylvestre, President of the Court of Cassation, and members of the Government commemorated ancestors' day at the Museum of the Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH).
During this ceremony, President Moïse deposited a floral offering in the hall of heroes, in memory of our ancestors who sacrificed themselves to leave us a Nation as a legacy.
In addition, a giant photo of President Henri Christophe, self-proclaimed King Henry I, was unveiled at the main entrance to the Museum, to emphasize that this January 1 was also the 200th anniversary of the death of King Christophe.
