In its responsibility to ensure a clean city, the Municipal Council of Croix-des-Bouquets has undertaken an awareness campaign with the citizens of the municipal section of Varreux 1 and Bon Repos in order to bring them to contribute to the sanitation of their zone.

Several citizens voluntarily joined the road agents of the Town Hall of Croix-des-Bouquets to clean their neighborhoods, remove rubbish in the streets and decorate the sidewalks with painted tires. A successful operation, which the Municipal Council intends to duplicate in other communal sections and neighborhoods of the Commune.

To encourage the volunteer citizens who contributed to this visible result, the Municipal Council of Croix-des-Bouquets distributed gratuity checks to the participants in order to congratulate them on their civic engagement with their community.
