iciHaiti - Special : Departure message from the tireless Secretary of State Gérald Oriol Jr.

After 8 years at the head of the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, Gérald Oriol Jr., the tireless Secretary of State, designated remarkable personality (2019) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-26733-icihaiti-social-tribute-to-10-outstanding-personalities-and-institutions.html who has been on all fronts with people with special needs, crisis or not crisis, leaves the Government and leaves us a message that we invite you to share.

Message from former Secretary of State Gérald Oriol Jr.

"I am very honored to have had the opportunity to serve my country for several years as Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities. I congratulate the new Secretary of State, Mrs. Soinette Désir and wish her success. I hope and I remain convinced that this third transfer of power, after that of Michel Péan and myself, will carry the torch of the integration of people with disabilities higher.

From 2011 to 2016 and from 2017 to 2020, after eight years of service at the head of the Office of the Secretary of State, duty calls me to serve the national cause and people with disabilities otherwise. At the end of this proudly accomplished mission, I thank President Martelly and President Moïse very much for the confidence placed in me.

You gave me the opportunity to get started. It is now history to judge me. 'Mèsi tout kad ak pèsonèl BSEIPH yo, mèsi tout moun alawonnbadè. Kenbe la !'"
