On Monday, the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA) organized in the offices of BANJ, in Delmas, the first annual tribute in honor of 10 Haitian personalities and institutions for their positive and concrete actions in society.

In his speech, Amos Cincir, president of FOLONHA, said that these personalities embody the creative wealth of Haitian society through their remarkable path. "By combining their talent and knowledge, they managed to reach the heights in their respective fields. We thank them for this invaluable legacy of affection for their profession and the desire to share the fruits of their achievement."

List of personalities and institutions :

- Nicolas MATHURIN, Director of Alexandre Pétion High School;

- Dr. René CHARLES, Founding President of the Haitian Foundation for Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseases;

- Gérald ORIOL Jr, State Secretary for the Integration of People with Disabilities;

- Dr. Jean Héder PETIT-FRERE, Pastor of the Tabernacle Family Diplomatic Center of Praise;

- Melchie Daëlle DUMORNAY, Best Haitian Footballer in 2018;

- Radio Lumière, Haitian Evangelical and Cultural Network;

- Louino ROBILLARD, "Konbit bibliyotèk Site Solèy";

- Economist Kesner PHAREL, Groupe Croissance S.A .;

- Economist Marc-Alain BOUCICAULT, BANJ, a technological company;

- Forest engineer William CINEA, Botanical Garden of Les Cayes.

Joël Lorquet, Member-Founder Councilor, emphasized that this initiative was an opportunity to present inspiring models to Haitian youth. "The Foundation has distinguished these very high caliber professionals who have innovated and made positive actions in their respective fields. It is in this sense that the FOLONHA honors these personalities and institutions by affixing them a seal of excellence more than deserved."
