Gaëtan Mentor, Head of the "20-20 Call Center" and advisor to the Minister of Public Health Dr. Marie Greta Roy Clément, explained that the operation of the Center is ensured 7/7 by 36 nurse operators, who provide 12 hours a day management and processing of calls.

He said that since March 25, the "20-20 Call Center" has received 421,154 calls and handled 169,035 calls. Call duration varies from 3 to 8 minutes depending on the location area.

The objective of the 20-20 Call Center is to answer all questions from the population, in relation to the Covid-19 coronavirus and to process the relevant information, for monitoring and evaluation, by the authorities concerned.

Discussions are underway with the managers of the country's mobile telephone companies, in order to improve the service and help channel the batch of unwanted calls, one of the major problems, to other State authorities, said Mentor who asked the population to have a responsible and cooperative attitude and not to call for anything other than the Covid-19 coronavirus.
