After distributing several thousand food kits and protective masks to vulnerable people in the 5 Haitian islands last week https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-30680-icihaiti-social-distribution-of-food-and-masks-in-5-haitian-islands.html , the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) continues to support the most underprivileged and is stepping up its interventions in other regions of the country.

Since Friday May 8, 2020, operations have continued in the Departments of Artibonite, North, North-Esat, North-West, South, South-East, Nippes and Grand'Anse where 22,000 vulnerable people will benefit from state aid

These distributions carried out as part of the Covid-19 pandemic are carried out door-to-door with the support of the Haitian National Police, the Directorate of Civil Protection and the Departmental Delegations, among others.
