iciHaiti - NOTICE : The National Port Authority recovers its wharfage rights

Due to the financial difficulties faced by the National Port Authority (APN) for the maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of port infrastructure, a decree granting the AFNP the right to recover its wharfage rights (mooring, berthing and quays) has been published in the Official Journal Le Moniteur.

Following this publication, the AFN Board of Directors adopted the following resolutions :

"The notice of July 5, 2016 regarding mooring, berthing and wharf fees is reported and that of August 3, 2015 devoting to the AFP an amount of US$310 is reinstated; a period will be granted for the full and complete application of this provision." According to this decree, 50% of the duties are payable on the date of the notice issued by the AFN, 25% from September 15, 2020 and the balance (or 100%) from December 15, 2020.
