Friday, August 7, Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Culture and Jean Emmanuel Jacquet the Director General of the National Book Directorate (DNL) officially launched the 2nd edition of the national reading competition "Read the Book".

The ceremony took place at the National Book Directorate (DNL), in Pacot, in the presence of Camy Depas, Director General of the Ministry of Culture

"Read the Book" offers young schoolchildren classes between NS1 and NS4, training in reading techniques, writing (summaries and comments) of novels by Haitian authors. This competition aims and facilitates the application of the concepts learned.
