iciHaiti - Barahona : Seizure of 21 tons of contraband garlic

Saturday September 5 at 11:30 am, in Santa Cruz de Barahona (province of Barahona) following an intelligence work, members of the S-2 intelligence service, of the 5th infantry brigade of the Dominican army accompanied by officers and soldiers seized in a house located in Proyecto street, behind the Los Maestros district (at the entrance of the city) more than 21 tons of contraband garlic, explained General Pedro Pablo Hurtado Cabreja Commander of the 5th brigade.
The goods which contained in 992 bags of 22 pounds each were transported to the facilities of the military institution for the corresponding purposes
No arrests were reported during this operation.
