Reacting to the arrest by the coalition of gangs named "G9 fanmi et alliés" of Obed Joseph, aka "Kiki" subject of a wanted notice https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32207-haiti-wanted-notice-a-suspect-in-the-murder-of-evelyne-sincere.html, suspected of involvement in the kidnapping, forcible confinement, rape and murder of the young 22-year-old student Evelyne Sincère, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32189-haiti-flash-kidnapped-tortured-raped-and-killed-the-young-student-sincere-found-in-a-landfill.html ; Me Marie Rosy Kesner Auguste Ducena, Head of Programs at the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) denounced in the media the involvement of G9 members in the murder of Evelyne Sincère.

According to Rosy Ducenat, Obed Joseph is an active member of the "Krache dife" gang and claims that the G9 gang leaders delivered the young man because of the media hype surrounding this assassination. She says she has uncovered close ties between Obed Joseph, alleged assassin of Evelyne Sincère, and several members of the G9.

She describes the arrest and handing over of Obed Joseph by the G9 to the police at the Portal Saint-Joseph sub-police station as "a macabre theater".
