Following the call for tenders launched on July 16 by the Procurement Unit (UPM) of the National Education Fund (FNE), Monday August 16, 2021 took place the opening session of the tenders in presence of the 24 firms (out of 36) that submitted their proposal.

This procurement concerns the construction of 3 new high schools in the North-West department, more precisely in Môle St. Nicolas, Jean Rabel and Côtes-de-Fer.

After this step, the UPM will submit the results of its assessment to the General Directorate of the FNE, which will in turn send its report to the National Commission for Public Procurement (CNMP) for validation.

This initiative is part of a set of provisions adopted by the Haitian State, with a view to strengthening the school supply and facilitating access to education under better conditions across the different regions of the country.
