As part of the implementation of the Urban Development Project in Cap-Haitien (CHUD), financed by the World Bank, Ms. Yvrose Pierre, President of the Municipal Commission of Cap-Haitien, met the representatives of the group to carry out the studies of the Development Project of the Picolet Section of the Seaside and the districts of Petite Anse and Balan

The meeting was an opportunity to present the groups that will carry out studies for the development of the seaside which must be improved and adapted to climate change in the face of rising sea levels and more frequent and intense rains.

It should be noted that these investments are focused on improving transport infrastructure, drainage, prevention of coastal erosion and flooding, as well as the creation of new recreational areas.

During this meeting, Ms. Pierre reiterated the commitment of her administration to work with all local actors and international donors in order to combine efforts to make Cap-Haitien a city where it is good to live, visit and do Business.
