iciHaiti - Kidnapping : The PNH releases a hostage, 1 dead and 2 injured among the kidnappers

On Friday March 18, 2022, agents from the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) with the support of the special SWAT unit, during an operation carried out in Torcelle (West Dept.), proceeded to the release of a hostage without ransom. The victim Michelove Lizaire Muscadin, 41, was kidnapped at his home in Thomassin 44, on the night of March 14 to 15. She is safe and sound.
During the assault, an individual identified as "Phanor Civil" in possession of a Lorcin 3.80 mm pistol, was fatally shot in exchanges of fire with the police while two of his accomplices were injured but managed to escape.
The National Police of Haiti calls on the population to collaborate in order to communicate any information that can put it on the track of these two injured individuals, actively sought, including the so-called "Se Pay".
