The private Haitian airline Sunrise Airways based in Port-au-Prince announced on social networks that it will soon add for its domestic flights, its first EMB-120ER aircraft, a twin-turboprop aircraft, produced by Embraer in Brazil.

With a capacity of 30 passengers, this comfortable aircraft will considerably increase the internal capacity of Sunrise Airways on its domestic flights.

The carrier's domestic fleet currently includes a Jetstream 32 and an S340B deployed on a network linking Port-au-Prince to Cap Haitien, Jérémie and Les Cayes, as well as Santo Domingo Las Américas in the Dominican Republic.

Additionally, during peak season, Sunrise Airways leased the capabilities of a crewed ATR42-500.
