iciHaiti - PNH : 3 members of the «400 Marozo» gang mortally wounded
Following surveillance by agents of the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), 4 individuals belonging to the "400 mawozo" gang were spotted in a club in Tabarre on the night of Tuesday April 19, 2022. Three teams from the BRI were quickly dispatched to the scene to arrest them.

Seeing the police arriving, these individuals fired in their direction while trying to escape. In the response of BRI agents three of the thugs were killed while a policeman was shot in the stomach and rushed to a hospital center, the 4th individual managed to escape. 2 weapons were seized.

On Wednesday April 20, Frédéric Leconte, Central Director of the Judicial Police visited the injured police offciers. According to doctors, his condition is stable.

In addition, on the same day 2 other armed individuals were fatally injured by a patrol from the Fort National sub-police station, on April 19, 2022, at rue Senghor near Nazon.

On April 21 in the morning during exchanges of fire with the police of Croix-des-Bouquets, Colby Saintilus, aka "Palmis", was mortally wounded. He was in charge of planning the kidnapping cases carried out at Carrefour "New York" (Michaud).
