During the kick-off of the May Day celebrations for the sectors representing the majority of the country's work force, the Hotel School of Haiti (EHH), played an important role in promoting the gastronomy of our various regions by offering typical local dishes such as "tchaka", "tomtom" or even white rice accompanied by "lalo", quoted the Minister.

Young people were encouraged to learn professional trades so that they could support themselves and achieve their goals. To overcome the food insecurity affecting the country, "the population must turn to agriculture because the land always feeds those who cultivate it", underlines Minister François.
