iciHaiti - NOTICE : The activities of St Damien and Saint Luc hospitals are closed

The organization Our Little Brothers and Sisters and the St Luc Foundation bring to the attention of the population, that following the kidnapping of Mrs. Benetty AUGUSTIN (Pediatrician / Head of the outpatient clinic and the Epilepsy Clinic of St Damien Hospital), Thursday May 5, 2022 and sequestered until date, it has been decided to close the activities of St Damien and Saint Luc hospitals from Monday May 9, 2022, until further notice.
Without the presence of health personnel, victims on many occasions, unable to reach health facilities safely, health care cannot be delivered.
This decision comes to demand the release of Dr. Augustin Benetty and so that the competent authorities of the country can finally guarantee the security conditions allowing all citizens to freely go about their activities.
