A young 18-month-old Dominican child kidnapped from a house located on Los Maestros Street at kilometer 13 of the Las Américas highway (Province of Santo Domingo) by a Haitian servant, has finally found his father.

The child was handed over by the Haitian authorities to Fortune Gasner, the Director of Customs of Malpasse, in the presence of members of the Specialized Corps for Border and Land Security (Cesfront), agents of the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations and the preventive police which returned him to his father, Luis Ernesto Concepción Valdez.

After being recovered, the child underwent medical evaluations at a border hospital and was declared in good health.

No details were released on the Haitian employee who took the child to Haiti, or how it was found.
