iciHaiti - PNH : 5 arrests in 24 hours including an active member of the «Chen Mechan» gang

On May 16, in the commune of Mirebalais, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) arrested Mendy Mentor (35), an active member of the "Chen Mechan" gang, operating in the Cul-de-sac plain. According to initial information, Mendy Mentor was previously a member of the gang led by "Vitelhomme"
That same day, in the Maïssade area, Gesmy Bernadin (15) and Montas Dieulin (28) were arrested by the police for possession of firearms. Ila comes into their possession a 9 mm caliber weapon and a homemade weapon as well as four cartridges.
Finally, during a routine check carried out at the level of the national road #3, the Police arrested for illegal possession of a firearm the names Jean Baptiste Dushail (35), from Croix-des-Bouquets and Joseph Jean Claire, (27), native of Boucan-Carré. They were in possession of a 9mm caliber firearm, TMA 72373 series, and a 5-round magazine.
