Following the arrest Sunday July 3rd of Edusson Étienne in possession of 12.4 kg marijuana https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-37071-icihaiti-blts-seizure-of-124-kg-of-marijuana-haitian-trafficker-arrested.html he confessed to investigators during his interrogation that he owned a marijuana plantation in Quartier Morin.

Agents from the Office for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS), an entity of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) accompanied by Me Noël, Deputy Judge at the Quartier Morin Peace Court, went to the scene and could see the presence of several plots of marijuana plantataion.

All the plants were uprooted and burned on the spot. A report of finding was drawn up by verbalizing the destruction of these "fields" of marijuana.
