iciHaiti - PNH : Dismantling of a network of kidnappers, 9 arrests

Saturday, July 23, 2022 in the morning, a joint operation of specialized units: Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) better known as the anti-gang brigade; Vehicle theft prevention brigade (BLVV); Cell Against Kidnapping (CCE) , the Departmental Directorate of the West (DDO2) and the Departmental Unit for the Maintenance of Order (UDMO) of Saint-Marc enabled the dismantling of a network of kidnappers involved among other things in kidnapping followed by kidnapping of a young woman on July 17th.
5 individuals were apprehended including gang leader Etienne Wesley. The 4 other accomplices arrested are : Libonet Dor (Ugan), Gesneau Sanon, Julien Clervoyant and Joseph Louise Marie alias "Kerline", the latter was responsible for monitoring the victim who was tortured during his confinement before being released on July 21, 2022 by the kidnappers.
