Friday, September 2nd, 2022, 5 individuals suspected of being members of the "400 Mawozo", denounced by members of the population, were arrested in Malpasse when they tried to cross the Haitian-Dominican border via Lake Azuel ( brackish pond) to escape the control of Border Police officers (PoliFront).

They are :

Délice Judenson (22), native of Carrefour
Félix Ritelmé (24), native of Carrefour
Laguerre Jean Gardy (28), native of Carrefour
Thelusmé Dieuson (25), native of Grand-Goâve
Louis Philippeson (19), native of Mariani (peripheral area of Carrefour)

The population of the area continues to actively collaborate with the police in order to identify and put out of harm's way all the thugs who seek to leave the country to escape Haitian justice.
