As part of the Government's Social Appeasement Program, the Ministry of the Environment, through its West Departmental Directorate, recently launched a series of activities in the area of Morne l'Hôpital, Jalousie, Debussy, Fontamara, Bicentenaire etc...

Many young people, women, men and adults, are mobilized in 3 categories for remunerative tasks :

1 - Awareness;

2 - Cleaning;

3 - Gully treatment, stabilization of watersheds (dry wall).

These activities allow the Ministry to solve certain environmental problems while helping the poorest families to put money in their pockets for the start of the school year.
