It was during the rapid intervention of the police during the attack on the premises of the Myriam sisters by around fifty individuals that twelve of the looters were arrested, including two inside the premises themselves. In addition, the police officers of the Office for the Fight against Narcotics Trafficking (BLTS) regained control of the Caritas premises and recovered several stolen objects abandoned by the looters near the NGO. The Police would like to point out that there were no demonstrations but that they were organized gangs whose sole motivation was to loot warehouses and attack Catholic institutions.
