Sunday October 16, 2022, Raymonde Rival, the Minister of Youth and Sports, in the presence among others of Jean Victor Généus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Me Arnel Rémy the President of the National Paralympic Committee, Me Jean Tholbert Alexis the Chief of Staff of the Minister Rival, welcomed the National Football Selection of Amputated Grenadiers back to the country after a remarkable participation in the 16th Amputee Football World Cup where they finished 4th in the World in the small final against Uzbekistan https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-37849-haiti-2022-world-cup-haiti-loses-[2-4]-to-uzbekistan-and-finishes-4th-video.html after winning in particular over France, the United States and Turkey

On behalf of the Government, Minister Rival once again thanked the Grenadiers and praised their performance while calling on them to remain united and continue to work towards achieving their goals next time.

Accompanied by various members of the Government, Ms. Rival also called for better supervision of this team, which still has a good margin for improvement.

With Génard Joseph, the Secretary of State for the Integration of People with Disabilities, she intends to organize a day of support for the Grenadiers and multiply actions to put in the best conditions this team which remains the pride of the Haitian people.
