The National Police of Haiti (PNH) launched earlier this week a series of operations to allow activities to take place without fear within the perimeter of the National Port Authority (APN)

A team from the PNH's specialized unit, which included heavy machinery operators, went to Boulevard La Saline to demolish a large house used by "snippers" and other armed individuals to shoot at the police and attack the containers of goods leaving the Wharf.

This demolition operation will allow command officers to have better control of the environment of the APN in order to allow it to operate in better security conditions.
