Digicel Group won the Social Contribution Award at the World Communication Awards 2022 (WCA 2022) in London, which recognizes the service provider demonstrating the greatest positive impact on the market it seeks to address.

Digicel presented the considerable work that the Digicel Haiti Foundation has done in the field of education across the country, by building 188 schools, which has enabled more than 100,000 Haitian children every day to access education in a school built by Digicel

Launched in 2007 under the patronage of Digicel Founder and Chairman Denis O'Brien, the Foundation in Haiti works to ensure communities have a better future by supporting community activities, with a particular focus on those that improve the access and quality of early childhood and primary education.
