The Engineer Rosemond Pradel, Minister of Public Works accompanied by some executives of the Ministry in particular Charles Hygins Raymond, the Director of Transport, organized this week a working session with the Secretary of State for the Integration of Disabled People Joseph Génard.

The discussions focused on several points, in particular on the mechanisms to be implemented to provide Public Buildings and public transport sites with a more adequate structure capable of facilitating access for people with reduced mobility.

Minister Pradel has made a commitment to develop a Project focused on the need to build ramps and accessories in public buildings and on public transport sites in order to make them more accessible to people with special needs.

Secretary Génard Joseph took the opportunity to invite Minister Pradel to take part in the activities to be held at the Karibe Convention Center on December 3rd to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
