The United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) has passed a regulations which provides for a sanctions regime in accordance with resolution 2653 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-37944-haiti-crisis-at-the-un-haiti-welcomes-the-adoption-of-sanctions-and-recalls-the-urgency-of-armed-intervention.html of the UN Security Council against criminal actors, gangs and their financiers whose actions are causing instability and threatening peace in Haiti. This law will enter into force on December 28, 2022.

"The Regulations provide that persons designated by the United Nations as being responsible for, complicit in or having participated, directly or indirectly, in actions which threaten the peace, security or stability of Haiti are designated for the purposes of these Regulations. Designated persons are subject to various penalties under this legal instrument. Part 3 of the Regulations provides that Designated Persons are subject to financial sanctions, which include the freezing of their funds and/or economic resources. Part 4 of the Regulations imposes trade restrictions on military goods and technology and related services [...] The Regulations also grant powers to specified maritime enforcement officers to stop and search vessels in international and foreign waters within the purpose of applying specified trade sanctions and seizing goods found on board ships which are, or have been, treated in contravention, or suspected contravention, of these prohibitions"
