Émmelie Prophète Milcé, the Minister of Culture learned with great sorrow of the death of Raymond Cadjus, singer of the group Bossa Combo, which occurred on January 24, 2023, in Florida, in the United States, at the age of 75.

"Originally from Cabaret, Raymond Cadjus is indisputably a worthy representative of this generation of musicians who revolutionized the mini-jazz movement in Haiti in the 1960s and 1970s, notably with his group Bossa Combo.

This legend of Haitian music leaves the memory of an open, welcoming and friendly artist with a rich discography filled with the greatest classics of the Haitian musical repertoire.

Minister Prophète Milcé salutes the memory of this talented singer and presents her sympathies to his family, friends, colleagues and fans as well as to all members of the Haitian music sector."
