iciHaiti - Insecurity : A driver of the Cuban Medical Brigade kidnapped

The driver of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Alejandro Aguilera Milanés has been kidnapped in Haiti, confirmed the Cuban Ministry of Health in a press release.
Immediately and with the required discretion, essential in situations of this nature, negotiations began with the Haitian authorities with the highest priority in order to obtain the safe and rapid release of the Cuban collaborator.
The ministry, which did not provide details on Aguilera's kidnapping, said the rest of the brigade, about 250 people, including doctors, patients and support staff are doing well and has so far complied with the security measures established for the exercise of their functions and their protection.
