It was at the Kinam Hotel in Pétion-ville, in the presence of various national and international actors involved in the issue of education in Haiti, that was held this week the reception ceremony of the National Directory of Trades and Jobs (RNME), and the Teacher's Professional Skills Framework (RCPE).

These are two strategic documents that will enable the Ministry of National Education, on the one hand, to address the problem of unvalued trades, and on the other hand, to have a tool capable of contributing to the recovery the professional level of teachers. These two studies, which mobilized more than a hundred students across the country, were conducted by the firm Cefie Conseil of Dr. Guichard Doré.

The RNME participates in the efforts made by national authorities to establish links between skills, qualifications, certifications, work organization and the development of human resources. The RNME contains 10 occupational groups, 97 occupational subgroups; it identifies 102 occupational families, 1,774 trades, professions and positions.

As for the Teacher's Professional Skills Framework (RCPE), it comprises 16 skills, 133 components or capacities and 290 observable facts reflecting the real skills of the teacher. As blocks of skills, the Referential mentions : culture, knowledge and didactics, pedagogical approaches and learning context, ethics and sense of responsibility, communication, conception of situations

In the law on the Recognition and Validation of Acquired Professional Experience (RVAEP) - published in the official journal, Le Moniteur, dated February 25, 2019 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29339-haiti-education-creation-of-the-commission-for-the-validation-of-prior-professional-experience.html it is precisely question of setting up a set of tools and means to facilitate access to services validation of acquired professional experience to all those concerned, namely professionals, workers, craftsmen, etc...

In this sense, I support the National Coordinator of the National Commission for the Validation of Acquired Professional Experience (CNVAEP) who must continue to work so that the State finally recognizes that these excluded from the system, who have not had access to formal learning, have been able, despite all the obstacles, to appropriate a body of knowledge to sometimes become respected and respectable professionals", declared Professor Auguste D'Meza, member of the Cabinet of Minister Manigat.

The National Commission for the Validation of Acquired Professional Experience is coordinated by Charles Levelt Joseph, assisted by Yanique César.
